For many years now, Sherman has been a physiotherapy service provider for the community of Pickering. Sherman is passionate about service and he firmly believes that everyone deserves to have a better understanding of their injuries and symptoms. With his expertise and experience in sports injury, rehab of repetitive strain, soft tissue injury, chronic pain and complex injury, Sherman believes in paying attention to details to address the root cause of the problem.As well, Sherman believes that treatment should be a holistic approach where different types of techniques are combined to provide optimal result. Maximal recovery is achieved through different use of exercise active therapy, soft tissue techniques, stretching or joint mobilization as well as different modalities.
Sherman’s top priority in physiotherapy would be treating clients with respect, genuine care and giving his expert opinion about the situation at hand. Given a range of clients from athletes in various sports, individuals involving in car accident, or people that experience day to day chronic pain, Sherman believes that everyone is their own unique individual and care should be customized to individual needs.
Dr. Benson Ng DC
Dr. Benson Ng graduated from York University with an Honours degree in Kinesiology. While attending York, he was a member of the varsity track and field team, competing as a sprinter. He graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with his Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Dr. Ng has a strong background in the assessment and treatment of acute and chronic injuries by integrating functional screening, myofascial release therapy, joint mobilization, and rehabilitation protocols. Using these techniques, he is focused on identifying and correcting movement patterns in order to minimize injury and optimize performance. Dr. Ng firmly believes a multidisciplinary approach is the key to providing the best possible care.
Dr. Ng has a special interest in treating individuals suffering from a range of sports injuries. Having first-hand experience with the rigorous demands athletes go through allow him create a unique approach to restoring athletes back to function, as well as staying injury-free.
Dr. Ng's currently keeps fit by running, weight training, and playing various sports. He also enjoys playing piano and board games.
Ainsley joins the Amberlea Physiotherapy & Rehab Clinic as a certified Physiotherapist with a background in Kinesiology. She has experience working in an array of settings, that include acute care, outpatient clinics, sports injury and neurological rehabilitation. She is believes in providing treatment that centralizes around individualized care, in order to assist clients on returning to their optimal level of functioning, and ensuring that they are actively involved and supported throughout their treatment. When not in the clinic, Ainsley enjoys living an active lifestyle that involves long distance marathon running, swimming, and attending spin classes.
Nirvan holds a Bachelor in Physiotherapy and has worked in a wide variety of clinical settings, both within the country and outside of Canada. He has experience working as a Department Head in the ICU burn unit as a postsurgical and orthopaedic re-habilitation specialist. Nirvan has also has extensive knowledge in the rehabilitation of neuromusculoskeletal injuries and has worked with a diverse population in order to adequately treat and address their needs and concerns.
In terms of medical values, Nirvan holds a strong belief in the idea that in order for his patients to get optimal results in treatment, manual therapy and modalities should go hand in hand. As a practitioner who is constantly updating himself with evidence based practice, patients are able to receive effective and reliable relief for their pain. Nirvan does not only possess exceptional skills in physiotherapy and pain management; he al-so enjoys photography most notably of people and nature. He enjoys engaging in physical activities and is an avid fitness en-thusiast.

Hannah Niu is a graduate of Wellsprings College of Massage in Richmond Hill, Ontario and a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with the College of Massage Therapy of Ontario (CMTO). She is an experienced massage therapist having practiced in various settings, and dedicated to providing the highest quality therapeutic massages through effective techniques within the client centered care framework, as well as proving valuable education to her clients regarding their health. She is well versed in massage therapy techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, therapeutic stretching, and other modalities to suit her clients personalized needs. She is also a College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO) licensed acupuncturist and specializes in pain management and injury treatment. Hannah is committed to delivering safe, attentive and effective care within the scope of an RMT and acupuncturist for all her clients.
Yin (Jessi) Li

Jessi combines her skill sets as a registered massage therapist and practitioner of Medical Acupuncture to deliver effective treatment to her clients; she takes a unique approach in treating every individual, utilizing different techniques in order to maximize their recovery. She has experience in acute/chronic pain management, deep tissues massage and trigger point therapy. During her treatments, she incorporates a wide range of techniques that approach to therapy involves that patients present with, and designing a treatment plan in order to achieve the best results for her clients whether it is for pain conditions, injuries or reducing stress.
Jessi specialize in cupping as well as traditional acupuncture in order to effectively deliver her treatment. With her extensive background and various skill, she believe in providing the clients with respect and her expertise in order to guide them to pain-free, moving optimally, enhance performance and ultimately on their road to recovery.

Mamta holds a Bachelor of Education as well as a Master of Economics degree. Her passion for health care propelled her to expand her education by becoming a Registered Massage Therapist. She is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. She thoroughly enjoys being a Massage Therapist.
Mamta is skilled in wide variety of therapeutic massage techniques and her subject areas focus has been Anatomy, Clinical Assessment, and Pregnancy Massage.
Her experience includes treatment of a variety of musculoskeletal conditions as well as prenatal/ postpartum massage, Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, hot stone massage, reflexology, shiatsu, kinesiology taping, myofascial release and trigger point therapy. As a mother of two herself, she has an expert understanding of how to get the best out of your body from day to day, both in pregnancy and non-pregnancy.
