When you’re suffering, the last thing you want to deal with is worrying about how much it’s going to cost to be pain free, how to go about getting your insurance to pay for treatment, who to ask about submitting claims, or dealing with admin. At Amberlea Physiotherapy we completely understand this. Which is why, as approved healthcare providers, we can bill directly to the vast majority of insurance providers.
This is also why you will find that many of our treatments, therapies and services are covered by private insurance plans, employer health plans, car accident insurance and WSIB, or by extended health benefits.

WSIB Coverage and Information
Did you get injured at work? We can help you heal AND deal with direct billing on WSIB claims!
Injuries can, and so often do, occur in the workplace. Even, sometimes, with the most stringent workplace safety rules and regulations in place. We can't avoid them all, all of the time. That being said, once you have the injury you need to get it fixed, and fast, in order to get back to work, and your life, pain free and as soon as possible. The good news is that if you do have a workplace injury in Ontario, Ontario’s Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) may be able to help cover the costs of our services, treatments and therapies.
The WSIB provides health care coverage and rehabilitation treatment for injuries received at your Ontario workplace. As providers for WSIB’s program of care, including low back, musculoskeletal, and shoulder pain, issues and injury, our Amberlea Physiotherapy team can help with treatment options for all kinds of work-related conditions and injuries, with therapies that include physiotherapy, massage therapy, chiropractic care, and more. Work-related injuries commonly treated by our Amberlea Physiotherapy team include, but are not limited to, things like repetitive sprain syndromes; lower back pain due to prolonged sitting; back injuries due to lifting and carrying; falls and other serious injuries; concussions, and more.
Once you’ve obtained a valid and active WSIB claim number, you can contact us with your claim number, at which point we will be able to help you with your next steps. We offer personalized assessment, examinations and treatment plans by registered physiotherapists, chiropractors, RMTs, all of who are familiar and adept at working with WSIB procedures and completing required forms.
